Clubs are the heart of Antifascist Craftivists, bringing together members with shared interests to create deeper connections and meaningful activism. Whether you’re passionate about a specific craft technique, focused on a particular cause, or looking to organize in your region, creating a club provides structure for ongoing engagement. Club organizers must be Provocateur or Visionary members.
Membership at our Provocateur tier ($50/year) and above grants you access to our specialized creative clubs, each bringing together artists across different disciplines.
Our original club for knitters, embroiderers, crocheters, sewists, and all fiber artists. Share patterns, troubleshoot projects, and turn textile traditions into powerful statements.
For those who wield words as weapons of change. Connect with poets, zine creators, journalists, and wordsmiths crafting narratives that challenge and inspire.
3D artists working with ceramics, wood, metal, clay, and other physical materials, creating tangible symbols of our movement.
Digital creators unite! From graphic designers to photographers, videographers to meme makers—this is where content creators collaborate to amplify progressive messages.
Before submitting a proposal, connect with fellow members who share your interest. A minimum of 3-5 committed participants (including yourself) is required to form a club. You are welcome to use our Discord server channel to gauge interest and refine your concept.
Strong clubs have clear purpose and direction. Before applying, consider:
Complete our Club Proposal Form. Once submitted, our executive director will contact you to work out the details so our board can review your proposal. Club approval is based on alignment with our values and mission, concept sustainability, resource availability, and community interest.
It’s not as formal as it sounds. Like pretty much everything else here, this process requires filling out a quick Google Form. (You don’t even have to worry about tracking when they’re due. We’ll email you.)
For a club to remain active, it requires at least three actively engaged members. The board may decide to waive this requirement and implement a growth plan if they believe the club deserves to retain status.
This is an easy one. Events can be held online or in-person. If the club can’t maintain minimum participation, the organization may dissolve it.
Each year, the board reviews our existing clubs to ensure they’re still in compliance with the organization’s policies. This review process involves evaluating quarterly activity reports, current membership levels, and event popularity.
