Antifascist Manifesto

Craft, Words, and Nourishment

In times of political uncertainty, creative expression becomes both refuge and resistance. The Antifascist Manifesto is our collective response—a digital anthology of recipes that sustain, art that empowers, and words that inspire.

What We're Building

This collaborative zine brings together diverse voices from our community to create a practical resource for daily resistance. More than just a collection, it’s a testament to the ways we nurture ourselves and each other through creative acts.

The finished PDF will feature:

  • Recipes that feed both body and soul
  • Craft patterns for wearable protest and meaningful gifts
  • Poetry and essays that articulate our values
  • Visual art that inspires and provokes thought
  • Photography documenting collective resistance

We’re currently shooting for this to be a pay-what-you-want, 20-page digital publication;
however, the Manifesto may expand based on submissions and community interest.

THIS IS A NON-PAYING PROJECT

Attention pro writers: we’re a free club for artsy progressives. Unfortunately, we don’t have a budget to speak of. Our projects are fundraisers, with 100% of all monies being dispersed to specified nonprofit organizations.

Submission Guidelines

We’re looking for content that falls into the following categories.

Recipes

Comfort foods, protest fuel, community meals, tea blends for difficult days.

Visual Art

Original artwork, photography, or digital designs that represent creative resistance.

TUTORIALS

Embroidery, cross-stitch, knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing, or other craft patterns/tutorials with resistance themes.

Writing

Insights (up to 350 words), essays (500-1000 words), and poetry that explore antifascist themes. Pages are limited, so the word-count is not negotiable.

Deadline

All submissions must be in by December 1st, 2026.
